How does Group Ride work?

The Group Ride feature allows one Veo account holder to start multiple simultaneous rides for friends and family without those individuals needing to download the app and create a Veo account.

 

Start a Group Ride

1. Tap the "Group" button on the map screen (available in select cities)
2. If trying the first time, a series of educational screens will appear, keep tapping "Next"
3. Scan your vehicle first (this is the host vehicle)
4. Scan additional vehicles for your group (up to the city limit)
5. Tap "Start" for all vehicles to unlock and start riding

When Group Ride is available, you may also add riders to your individual ride already in progress, and end rides early when individuals would like to drop off. Note that the Host's ride cannot be ended separately—when you end your own ride, all currently active rides in the group will also end. The final charge for the group ride will be executed once the Host's ride has ended.

End a Group Ride

1. Ensure your entire group is in an area that is deemed "Safe to park"
2. When ready, tap "Take photo to end all rides"
   • A photo showing all vehicles parked properly may be required
